Nicola hare - The reset therapist

Training

I have finished the classroom and prerequisites for the 6 month Supervision Diploma with The Link Centre and am currently completing my client hours. During this time I am offering reduced rates of £35 per 50 minutes and £60 per 90 minutes. Once qualified, my rates will increase on a case-by-case basis for supervisees who joined before I gain my qualification to ensure continuation of service.

My Approach

I see supervisees from all modalities of counselling and psychotherapy. My core modality is Transactional Analysis (TA), which offers a clear and relational framework for understanding client dynamics, patterns, and therapeutic process. Alongside this, I integrate somatic exploration and creative interventions. These approaches can be incorporated upon your request but by default, I will be nurturing and supporting your perspective, approach and way of working.

What You Can Expect

Supervision sessions are tailored to your individual needs and may include:

  • Exploration of client work and relational dynamics

  • Support with ethical considerations and decision-making

  • Developing confidence and professional identity

  • Working with 'stuckness' or uncertainty

  • Attending to your own emotional and somatic responses

  • Space for creativity, curiosity, and deeper awareness

There is also room to bring the impact of the work on you, helping to reduce burnout and support your wellbeing.

Somatic & Creative Exploration

Where appropriate, I may gently invite awareness of bodily sensations, emotional responses, or creative expression within supervision. This can help uncover implicit processes and deepen understanding of both client and therapist experience.

All invitations are optional and guided at your pace.

A Collaborative Relationship

I view supervision as a collaborative relationship where your voice, perspective, and autonomy are respected. My role is to support, gently challenge, and walk alongside you as your practice develops. It is important to me that you feel you can bring what might be difficult to say. This could relate to aspects of your work, or what you want from our sessions and from me. I strive to create a safe environment for my supervisees so that they can step into this space.

Get in Touch

If you are looking for a supportive and engaging supervision space, I would be happy to hear from you. We can arrange an initial conversation to explore whether we are a good fit.

Supporting you to support others.

Offering a Reflective, Supportive Space for Your Practice

Clinical supervision offers a dedicated space to reflect on your work, deepen your understanding, and feel supported in the complexities of therapeutic practice. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, supervision can help you stay grounded, ethical, and connected to your work.

I provide a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where you can bring both the clinical and personal aspects of your practice. My supervision sessions put you first and are informed by the 7 Eyed Supervision Model.
