This approach combines Transactional Analysis (TA) & breathwork if appropriate, to support both insight & nervous system regulation. Transactional Analysis helps you understand the internal patterns, beliefs, & self-talk that may have developed through both ADHD & past experiences such as perfectionism, avoidance and a harsh internal critic.
By recognising these patterns, you can begin to shift out of automatic responses and make more conscious, supportive choices.
Breathwork works directly with the nervous system, which is often heightened or dysregulated when ADHD & trauma overlap. You may notice restlessness, anxiety, shutdown, or difficulty staying present. Through simple, guided breathing techniques, you can develop greater calm, improve focus, & build the capacity to stay with your experience without becoming overwhelmed.
